Job description

Vantage Labs is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to perform a variety of tasks for various properties. The

Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for building maintenance, custodial, grounds-keeping tasks, and general maintenance in all locations.

Expected hours: 40 per week (Monday – Friday); On call as needed

Work Location: Multiple work site locations

Qualifications, Skills & Abilities:

The ideal candidate will have a good work ethic, be dependable, report to work on time, complete projects in a timely fashion, own projects to completion and demonstrate a working knowledge of basic property management as listed below.

• General building maintenance- interior and exterior
• Basic plumbing repairs (Copper, Pex, Etc.)
• Lite electrical repairs (Lighting maintenance)
• Landscaping and irrigation
• Basic window and door repair
• General carpentry and construction skills
• Tile replacement (vinyl and ceramic)
• Wall and ceiling repair (sheetrock, spackle, paint)
• Roof and gutter repairs
• Basic HVAC maintenance
• Maintain warehouse organization
• Maintain equipment and appliances
• Other duties as assigned

Required:

• Basic property maintenance and repair experience
• Valid driver license
• Own tools
  
  

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

This position is very active and requires the ability to exert significant physical effort in heavy work, including but not limited to climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, standing, walking, crouching, crawling, lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling moderately heavy objects and materials weighing up to 50 pounds; may occasionally involve heavier objects and materials weighing up to 100 pounds. The use of ladders, tools and other heavy equipment is required.
