Job summary

i.g. Burton Auto Group in Milford, DE is seeking a Facilities/ Maintenance Worker to help maintain our dealership's buildings and grounds. The role covers minor repairs, cleaning, painting, and ground upkeep, with travel between locations provided.

You will operate basic tools, use a forklift or scissor lift when needed, and support safety inspections while coordinating with the facilities team to keep our premises safe and presentable.

Qualifications

• Must own a mechanic set of tools for independent work.
• High school diploma or GED.
• 2 years relevant experience.
• Valid state Driver’s License with clean driving record.
• Ability to lift and move up to 75 pounds.
• Work in indoor/outdoor environments in all weather.
• Use of safe and proper handling of custodial equipment.

Responsibilities

• Replace light bulbs and perform cleaning of common areas, floors, and restrooms.
• Carry out minor repairs on building fixtures and equipment.
• Assemble, repair, move furniture and fixtures as needed.
• Set up for events and special needs.
• Perform painting and patching.
• Operate a forklift or scissor lift as required.
• Inspect facilities and grounds for safety and report hazards.
• Support other facility staff with repairs and tasks.
