Job summary

Eide Automotive Group is seeking a hands-on Facilities Maintenance Specialist to keep our buildings, grounds, and equipment safe, functional, and welcoming for customers and staff.

You will perform repairs on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, lighting, and mechanical systems, inspect facilities regularly, and coordinate with contractors for larger projects. A valid driver’s license and 2+ years in maintenance are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of experience in general maintenance, facilities, or building repair.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
• Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, lighting, and mechanical components.
• Conduct regular inspections of the facility and grounds to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards.
• Handle basic carpentry, painting, drywall, and flooring repairs as needed.
• Manage and maintain outdoor areas including snow removal, lawn care, and parking lot upkeep.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests or emergency issues to minimize downtime and disruptions.
• Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors for larger repair projects or specialized maintenance.
• Track and manage maintenance supplies, tools, and inventory.
• Maintain records of maintenance work completed, inspections, and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes.
• Support setup, cleanup, and maintenance for dealership events or special projects.
