Job summary

Triton Environmental Consultants, Ltd. is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to support the operation of a 400,000 sq ft climate-controlled manufacturing center.

The role involves maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing and installing production equipment, with available weekends and after-hours for emergencies. Candidates should have hands-on facilities maintenance experience, preferably in manufacturing, and familiarity with electrical, plumbing or HVAC systems.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in facilities maintenance, ideally in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience with electrical, plumbing, or HVAC systems is advantageous.
• Ability to diagnose malfunctioning equipment and perform repairs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and install all production and plant equipment.
• Diagnose issues with transformers, motors, blowers, and lighting fixtures.
• Install power supply wiring and conduit for new and existing machinery.
• Plan and lay out installation of complex plant or production machinery.
• Assist supervisors and trade specialists in repairs and new installations.
• Be available for emergency call-ins on weekends and after hours.
• Follow safety regulations and keep area clean and orderly.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Facilities Maintenance Technician (Finance)

The Facilities Maintenance Technician supports the operation of all equipment in a 400,000 sq foot climate-controlled manufacturing center.

• Maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and installation of all production and plant equipment.
• Diagnose malfunctioning apparatus such as transformers, motors, blowers, and lighting fixtures.
• Installs power supply wiring and conduit for new and existing machinery.
• Plan, lay out and install a variety of complicated plant or production machinery.
• Assist Director of Facilities, Facilities / Maintenance Lead, Mechanics, and Electricians, as assigned or directed in making general repairs, new installations, and troubleshooting.
• Assist mechanics/electricians with general maintenance activities on special projects.
• Availability for emergency call-in on weekends and after hours for production or plant related emergencies.
• Follows prescribed safety regulations and procedures.
• Maintains area and equipment in an orderly manner, reporting unusual conditions to proper supervision.
• Performs other related duties as assigned or directed.

Experience: Hands on experience with facilities maintenance, especially manufacturing Plumbing, electrical, or HVAC experience a plus
