Job summary

MJM Yachts in the United States seeks a Maintenance Technician to support plant equipment maintenance, troubleshoot production lines, and perform repairs including preventive maintenance and emergency calls. You will use a variety of hand and power tools, electrical meters, and material handling equipment, and you will assist the Manager in troubleshooting facility issues.

The role requires a high school diploma, reliability, and a readiness to work safely under predictive and productive

Qualifications

• Forklift experience and training.
• Dependable with reliable transportation and driver's license.

Job description

The Maintenance Technician position assists with performing plant equipment maintenance, troubleshooting equipment, repairs including preventive maintenance and emergency calls, modification, and upgrades to existing plant equipment. Maintenance is performed according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems, and processes to support the achievement of the site’s business goals and objectives.

• Ability to perform mechanical skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, troubleshooting and repair of production equipment.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines and plant facilities
• Forklift experience and training.
• Assist Manager in troubleshooting facility issues.
• Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties.
• Dependable/Timely with reliable transportation and driver’s license
• Assist Facilities as needed.
