Job summary

Eataly is seeking a Facilities Technician in Los Angeles to serve as the on-site point of contact during shifts, ensuring all facilities are maintained and compliant with health standards.

You will oversee housekeeping duties, monitor equipment like walk-ins, refrigerators, and HVAC, and report to the Facilities Manager. Applicants should have 2+ years in facilities or housekeeping and be able to work nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of facilities and housekeeping experience.
• Basic computer skills.
• Proficiency in Spanish language preferred.
• Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending and squatting.

Responsibilities

• Serve as point of contact for assigned shifts and ensure facilities are in proper working order.
• Oversee facilities support duties, maintaining equipment, walk-ins, HVAC, plumbing, storage areas and other facilities.
• Maintain exceptionally clean and sanitary conditions per state and federal regulations.
• Provide a shift recap to the Facilities Manager and Food Safety Manager.
• Inspect team members' assigned stations and provide feedback.
• Perform other duties as required or assigned.

Job description

The Facilities Technician serves as the point of contact for the assigned shifts and takes the necessary actions to ensure that all facilities are in proper working order.

The Facilities Technician is also knowledgeable about housekeeping and dishwashing procedures.

Reports to the Facilities Manager.

Participates in and helps oversee facilities support duties, ensuring all equipment, walk-ins, refrigerator units, HVAC, plumbing, storage areas and other facilities are functioning properly and efficiently.

Guarantees exceptionally clean and sanitary conditions in accordance with state and federal regulations.

Provides a recap of the shift to the Facilities Manager and the Food Safety Manager.

Inspects each team member's assigned station and provides feedback.

Performs other duties as required or assigned.
