Job summary

ABM Facilities Maintenance staff are responsible for general maintenance at Mercury Marine Fond du Lac campus and surrounding Wisconsin plants. The role requires operating maintenance equipment, conducting preventative maintenance, and ensuring safety standards are met.

Under supervision, duties include completing work orders, inspecting critical systems, and assisting with plumbing tasks as needed. Flexibility in hours may be required to meet operational needs.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• Knowledge of operation, maintenance and construction to maintain building efficiencies.
• Ability to schedule, organize, coordinate and operate under deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Completes work orders using Mercury's CMMS.
• Performs preventative maintenance on campus access control equipment (turnstiles, gates, exits).
• Inspects systems (elevators, fire extinguishers, pressure vessels).
• Operates maintenance equipment (drills, hand/power tools) and PIT forklift.
• Performs snow removal with plow vehicles/equipment.
• Assists with minor plumbing work orders.
• Performs other duties as directed by Mercury Project Manager or ABM Supervisor.
• Duties may be modified at any time.

6A to 2P Monday to Friday Under the general supervision of the Mercury Project Manager and the ABM Facilities Supervisor, the ABM Facilities Maintenance position performing general maintenance for Mercury Marine at the Fond du Lac campus plants and associated Wisconsin plants.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Completes work orders utilizing Mercury's computer maintenance management systems.
• performs preventative maintenance and repairs to campus access control equipment which include entrance turnstiles, access gates and emergency exits.
• Perform required inspections of systems that include elevators, fire extinguishers, and pressure vessel systems.
• Operate a variety of maintenance equipment including drills and a variety of hand and power tools; operate a forklift and powered industrial truck (PIT).
• Performs snow removal duties using plow vehicles and equipment.
• Assist with minor plumbing work orders.
• Performs other job-related duties assigned by Mercury Project Manager or ABM Supervisor.
• Job duties and responsibilities may be modified at any time.

• Ability to work flexible hours determined by operational and building needs
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships within a diverse environment
• Must be able to perform all the above job duties
