Job summary

Life Care Centers of America Maintenance Assistant position in Evansville, IN. You will support the facility by performing preventive maintenance, repairs, and replacements to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of one (1) year maintenance experience preferred.
• Proven knowledge of various mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preventive maintenance, repairs, and replacements.
• Inspect equipment/systems regularly for proper functioning and safety.
• Run errands, handle incoming and outgoing freight, and lift and move heavy furniture and equipment.
• Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients.
• Assist in the evacuation of patients.
• Demonstrate dependable, regular attendance.
• Concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgment.
• Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team.
• Sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, stoop, walk, reach, and move intermittently during working hours.
• Read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
