Job summary

Nexus Health Systems is seeking a Maintenance Staff member to support the Director of Plant Operations in routine and preventative upkeep of the facility in Conroe, Texas. The role emphasizes safe environments, timely repairs, and adherence to maintenance schedules.

Responsibilities include electrical, plumbing, doors/windows repairs, cleaning, and emergency response. A valid driver’s license and high school diploma are required; two years of building maintenance experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of building maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of building codes, licensing standards, and ADA guidelines.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Maintains facility in good repair to ensure a safe environment.
• Ensures a clean and safe environment in all exterior areas of the facility.
• Reports unsafe/hazardous conditions to the safety supervisor immediately.
• Demonstrates problem-solving and prevention in maintenance and safety.
• Performs repairs on windows, doors, locks, and closets; installs blinds.
• Completes daily, weekly and monthly maintenance checklists and records procedures.
• Responds to emergency maintenance requests as required.
• Performs basic electrical work and inspects safety systems for hazards.
• Cleans debris from pathways, parking lots, and roof gutters.
• Delivers cleaning and supplies as needed.
• Ensures chemicals are stored securely.
