Position Summary
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing skilled and semi-skilled maintenance, repair, and preventative maintenance tasks at SVDP-owned and operated properties throughout Greater Cincinnati. This role plays a critical part in maintaining safe, functional, and welcoming environments for neighbors, volunteers, and staff.
The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience across building systems, takes pride in quality workmanship, demonstrates a high degree of ownership, accountability, and attention to detail. This position requires a self-motivated individual who can work independently, manage priorities effectively, and take full responsibility for task completion, documentation, and service delivery once fully trained.

Working Conditions
Work is performed both indoors and outdoors across multiple SVDP facilities. Occasional evening or weekend work may be required to address emergencies or support special projects. Exposure to moderate noise levels, dust, chemicals, or temperature extremes may occur.

Travel Expectations: This position requires regular travel between St. Vincent de Paul facilities throughout the Greater Cincinnati area. A valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and the ability to safely drive as part of daily job responsibilities are required. Mileage reimbursement is provided in accordance with agency policy.
Additional Preferred Qualifications OSHA certification, CPR/First Aid training, or other safety-related credentials are a plus.
