AmeriFix, a busy automotive repair shop in Northern Indiana, is seeking a reliable Maintenance Technician to keep multiple locations running smoothly. You’ll be hands-on, self-starting, and capable of handling a wide range of tasks with a company-provided truck.

Day-to-day work includes maintaining shop equipment, basic building maintenance, electrical and plumbing tasks, light IT support, and HVAC-related duties. No formal certifications required; own initiative and pride in quality are valued.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities maintenance and basic trades.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Comfortable with lifting and physical work.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair automotive shop equipment (lifts, air systems, shop equipment, etc.)
• Perform light construction and building maintenance (drywall, framing, doors, paint, general repairs)
• Handle minor electrical and plumbing work
• Assist with basic IT and technology needs (printers, routers, POS terminals, cabling)
• Perform basic HVAC-related tasks (filters, thermostats, basic troubleshooting)
• Coordinate with outside vendors when needed
• Respond to maintenance needs across multiple locations
• Take pride in work quality, ensuring repairs look finished, not patched

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable, hands-on Maintenance Technician who can handle a wide range of work and take pride in getting things done the right way. This role is ideal for a self-starter who can figure things out, work independently, and keep multiple locations running smoothly.

This position floats between locations using a company-provided truck and supports automotive shop equipment, facilities, and general operations.

What You'll Do

• Maintain and repair automotive shop equipment (lifts, air systems, shop equipment, etc.)

Schedule & Pay

• Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Overtime possible
• No late nights or weekends
• $22-$28 per hour, based on experience
