Job summary

Colorado Chautauqua Association (CCA) in Boulder, CO is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician for full-time, benefited work on our resort facilities. The role covers repairs and maintenance of structures and grounds with a Monday–Friday 8:00am–4:30pm schedule; occasional weekends/holidays may be required.

The ideal candidate has 3 years of residential maintenance experience (hospitality preferred), basic plumbing/HVAC/electrical/painting skills, and carpentry is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3 years all-around residential maintenance experience required (hospitality industry preferred).
• Basic plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and painting skills; carpentry a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance on Chautauqua facilities, structures and grounds.

• Emergency and inclement weather reporting is considered essential.

Description

The Facilities Maintenance Technician is a full-time, benefited, non-exempt position. Under general supervision, this position performs a variety of repairs and maintenance tasks on Chautauqua facilities, structures and grounds. Schedule is Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm. Weekend and holiday work may be required. For emergency and inclement weather reporting, this position is considered essential.

The right candidate will have:

· 3 years all-around residential maintenance experience required (hospitality industry preferred).

· Basic plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and painting skills. Strong carpentry skills are a plus. Will need to successfully complete CCA’S Tech I Skill Requirements Evaluation.

· Experience working in work order system; knowledge of WorxHub a plus.

· Basic knowledge and use of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel and Outlook.

· Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to listen and communicate well on a team.

· Strong guest service mindset.

· Results oriented, able to meet deadlines
