Job summary

Hampton Hall Club Inc is seeking an Experienced Maintenance Technician to join our facilities team at Bluffton, SC. You will perform trades such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, painting, carpentry, and more to maintain club properties and guest areas.

Strong teamwork and safety awareness are essential. The ideal candidate has at least three years of maintenance experience, a high school diploma or trade training, EPA certification preferred, and the ability to work after hours when needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and trade school or equivalent.
• EPA Certification or relevant qualifications desirable.
• Valid SC driver’s license.
• Three years maintenance technician experience preferred.
• Ability to safely follow supervisor instructions and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform HVAC and refrigeration system maintenance.
• Electrical work for 120/240V systems and basic wiring.
• Interior and exterior painting and carpentry tasks.
• Drywall installation and repairs; plumbing work as needed.
• Maintain sprinkler and fire alarm systems and related equipment.
• Adhere to safety policies and assist after-hours on-call duties.

The ideal candidate will possess strong general facilities maintenance skills; including, but not limited to:

• Advanced knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration systems
• Electrical – 120/240 volt single and three phase
• Interior and exterior painting
• Carpentry
• Drywall installation and repairs
• Appliance repair
• Plumbing
• Sprinkler and fire alarm systems

Physical Demands:

• The ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Prolonged periods standing and walking
• Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces
• Most of the day spent standing, much of which is on concrete floors
• Comfortable with heights

Knowledge, Education, and Abilities:

• High school diploma and trade school, or equivalent required
• A valid SC driver’s license
• Three years maintenance technician experience or related field preferred
• Certificate in HVAC and EPA Certification, building maintenance technology, plumbing or relevant field desirable
• Ability to safely follow instructions from supervisors or senior maintenance workers
• Ability to contribute to a total team effort
• Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism, integrity and respect
• Ability to safely use hand tools and power tools
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work in varying temperature environments
• Be available for after-hours and weekend-on-call duties as requested
