Spring Island Club is seeking a Full-Time Facility Maintenance Technician to ensure the upkeep of the club's property in excellent condition. The ideal candidate should have over 3 years of maintenance experience and a solid understanding of plumbing, electrical work, and carpentry.
This role involves operating effectively in emergency situations and performing various repairs and maintenance tasks, as well as participating in special functions. Candidates must hold a high school diploma and possess a valid driver’s license.
The pay rate is $25/hour based on experience.
The Spring Island Club Full-Time Facility Maintenance Technician can carry out and perform all club house repairs and general maintenance for equipment, furniture, masonry, and building structures to maintain club property in optical condition and appearance.
This work requires the regular exertion of up to 50 pounds of force, frequent exertion of up to 25 pounds of force and occasional exertion of more than 100 pounds of force; work regularly requires standing and using hands to finger, handle or feel, frequently walking, speaking or hearing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling, reaching with hands and arms, pushing or pulling, lifting and repetitive motions and occasionally requires sitting, climbing or balancing and tasting or smelling; work requires close vision, distance vision, ability to adjust focus, depth perception and peripheral vision; vocal communication is required for expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word and conveying detailed or important instructions to others accurately, loudly or quickly; hearing is required to perceive information at normal spoken word levels and to receive detailed information through oral communications and/or to make fine distinctions in sound; work requires visual inspection involving small defects and/or small parts, using of measuring devices, assembly of fabrication of parts within arms- length, operating machines, operating motor vehicles or equipment and observing general surroundings and activities; work regularly requires working near moving mechanical parts and exposure to outdoor weather conditions, frequent exposure to fumes or airborne particles and occasionally requires working in high, precarious places, exposure to toxic or caustic chemicals, exposure to the risk of electrical shock and exposure to vibration; work is generally in a moderate noise location (e.g. heavy traffic).
$25/hour, depending on experience
