Job summary

Skywood Recovery Center is a residential treatment facility located in Augusta, MI. We seek a maintenance technician to manage repairs and routine upkeep of the campus buildings and utilities, ensuring a safe, functional environment for residents and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or equivalent experience in building/ mechanical maintenance.
• Proficient with hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor and major repairs of buildings and equipment.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on mechanical equipment and systems.
• Inspect and service HVAC units and replace components as needed.
• Install electrical wiring and fixtures; remodel wiring as required.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests after hours.
• Assist with renovations; repair plaster and drywall; paint structures.
• Handle outside custodial tasks as needed (snow removal, lawn care).
• May obtain estimates for supplies and parts; order parts as needed.
• Perform other duties as required.
