Oak View Group, Moody Center in Austin, TX, seeks a Maintenance Worker to perform skilled and unskilled tasks in the venue’s operation and upkeep. The role focuses on repairs, preventative maintenance, and facility support to ensure uninterrupted guest experiences.

The position is full-time, paid hourly ($22.00–$24.00), with benefits including health, dental, vision, 401(k) and PTO. Moody Center hosts major events, requiring diverse working hours and strong safety adherence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–3+ years of full-time maintenance experience at a facility.
• Experience in stadiums/arenas or convention centers preferred.
• Knowledge of power tools and hand tools.
• Ability to operate light trucks, pallet jacks, forklifts, and scrubbing machines.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Familiar with safety procedures and building codes.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair the venue as assigned.
• Complete work orders in preventative maintenance system.
• Record and log all work and reports.
• Maintain interior and exterior walls, drywall repairs, sanding, repainting.
• Operate vehicles to transport tools and materials for maintenance.
• Lead as team representative for Moody Center during events.
• Work a flexible schedule including early mornings, nights, holidays.
• Perform physical duties as described (lifting, bending, climbing, etc.).
