Job summary

OMG Roofing, Inc. is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to support the Agawam, MA site. You will assist with facility, grounds, and ancillary equipment upkeep, ensuring a safe, efficient work environment.

Responsibilities include lighting, equipment checks, and tool deliveries within the local area. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, solid problem-solving, teamwork, and knowledge of basic electricity, plumbing, and welding.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Good verbal and written communication, and basic math skills.
• Strong problem-solving and workload prioritization.
• Valid state driver’s license and certification on all assigned industrial lifts.
• Proficient in the use of all hand tools, including carpentry and mechanical tools.
• Working knowledge of basic electricity, plumbing, and welding.
• Good close vision and depth perception skills.
• Ability to contribute successfully as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Promote Safety as the Number One Priority of all OMG employees.
• Perform checks on assigned equipment.
• Maintain interior and exterior lighting.
• Service air compressors and air dryers.
• Construct, modify, and/or relocate workspace areas.
• Construct, repair, and maintain interior walls, stairways, and ceilings.
• Make deliveries of tooling and equipment in the local area.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
