OMG Inc. is a leading manufacturer of fastening products for the commercial roofing and construction industries, with facilities in Massachusetts, Illinois, and Minnesota.

The Maintenance Mechanic role supports our Agawam facility by performing scheduled and unscheduled mechanical updates and repairs to fastener manufacturing equipment, driving productivity improvements. The position requires 2+ years of maintenance experience, the ability to read schematics, and strong troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
• Ability to read schematics and operate maintenance tools.

Responsibilities

• Promote safety as a top priority for all OMG employees.
• Perform scheduled maintenance on production and packing equipment.
• Provide emergency/unplanned maintenance as required.
• Assist with setup of equipment for scheduled production runs.
• Repair, rebuilds and moves of machines; fabricate parts as needed.
• Read manuals/work orders and comply with OSHA standards.
