Job summary
Sea Breeze is seeking a hardworking, self-motivated Facility Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance and repair tasks throughout our food manufacturing facility in Towaco, NJ. This role suits someone with strong mechanical aptitude and handyman skills who can work independently, with growth opportunities for the right candidate.
Responsibilities include general building maintenance, troubleshooting plumbing, minor electrical work, carpentry, painting, sanitation, equipment
Qualifications
- Experience in maintenance roles with strong mechanical aptitude.
- Basic skills in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds and operate tools safely.
- Comfortable using a computer for documentation.
Responsibilities
- Perform general building maintenance and repairs.
- Troubleshoot simple plumbing issues.
- Perform minor electrical work and fixture repairs.
- Complete carpentry repairs and facility improvements.
- Paint and maintain facility interiors.
- Maintain a clean, safe working environment.
- Document maintenance work using a basic computer system.
