Job summary

Sierra Tucson, located in Saddlebrooke, AZ, seeks a maintenance technician to perform routine and specific maintenance tasks to keep our campus facilities safe and reliable. The role covers plumbing, carpentry, painting and mechanical repairs on a 160-acre campus.

Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday, 7:00 am–3:30 pm; Paid On Call biweekly rotation. Hourly pay posted at $17.50/hr, with on-site responsibilities and a commitment to high standards of care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in maintenance or facility operations.
• Knowledge of standard practices, procedures and tools in general building/maintenance trades.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repair to facility and equipment, including plumbing, carpentry, painting and mechanical repair.
• Back-up for call person in case of emergency; respond timely.
• Handle equipment safely; use tools properly.
• Operate hand and power tools safely.
• Follow preventive maintenance schedules and complete reports.
• Inspect and maintain emergency power equipment, fire alarm system, lighting, and plumbing; record data.
