Job summary

Sunrise Plastic Enterprise, INC seeks a Facility Maintenance Technician to uphold buildings, grounds, utilities, and equipment in our manufacturing site. You will perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs to keep operations safe and functional.

The role supports facility infrastructure and may assist production teams as needed, with overtime and on-call shifts possible. Responsibilities include inspecting and repairing facility systems, plumbing, electrical tasks when qualified,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• At least one year of facility, building, industrial, construction, or general maintenance experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, painting, mechanical repairs, and building maintenance.
• Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and maintenance equipment.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
• Ability to read work orders, safety instructions, equipment manuals, labels, and basic diagrams.
• Ability to complete maintenance records and communicate repair needs clearly.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize assignments, and respond to urgent facility needs.
• Ability to work around active manufacturing and material‑handling operations.
• Ability to work assigned shifts, overtime, weekends, holidays, and emergency call‑outs when required.
• Valid driver’s license may be required when operating company vehicles.
• Forklift or aerial‑lift certification preferred, or ability to obtain company certification.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility systems, structures, and equipment.
• Perform general building repairs involving doors, locks, walls, ceilings, flooring, windows, fencing, gates, docks, and other facility components.
• Complete basic plumbing repairs involving faucets, toilets, sinks, drains, hoses, and minor leaks.
• Monitor facility lighting, ventilation, plumbing, electrical, compressed-air, fire‑protection, and HVAC systems.
• Report major problems requiring a licensed professional.
• Perform preventive maintenance according to schedules and manufacturer recommendations.
• Maintain an organized inventory of facility-maintenance tools, parts, supplies.
• Coordinate access and provide site support to approved contractors.
