Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least two years’ experience with hand tools and general engineering equipment.
• At least two years’ experience with electrical, heating, plumbing, boilers and AC systems.
• Ability to work with supervisors, coworkers and facility staff.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Must speak, read, write and comprehend English.

Responsibilities

• Make repairs on facility equipment and buildings.
• Perform plumbing, painting, electrical, carpentry and related tasks.
• Maintain logs and forms and record necessary information.
• Complete tasks as assigned by supervisors.
• Build structures for resident use such as benches and flower boxes.
