Job summary

The Tulsa Health Department is actively seeking dedicated individuals to clean and maintain all Health Department sites. The role offers a competitive hourly wage of $16.93 and includes a full benefits package.

The position requires high school diploma or equivalent and a year or more of janitorial experience, with a valid Oklahoma driver’s license preferred. Responsibilities include floor care, general maintenance, and keeping facilities clean and safe.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• One or more years of janitorial or related work experience is required.
• Experience with floor care (stripping, waxing) preferred.
• Must possess a valid Oklahoma driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Performs sweeping, mopping, stripping, waxing and vacuuming on building floors.
• Performs general preventative maintenance and minor repairs to maintain clean and safe buildings and grounds.
• Maintains cleanliness of lavatories, examination rooms and washrooms.
