Job summary

Green Alpha Property Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support three apartment complexes in Theodore, AL. This full-time role (40 hours per week) requires a proactive, learn-fast attitude. Pay is $18–$20 per hour, with opportunities for growth across our Southeast portfolio.

The successful candidate will handle routine requests, assist with preventative maintenance, and ensure move-in ready units. A valid driver’s license and US work eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• HVAC/EPA certification preferred.
• 1+ years of maintenance experience.
• Computer experience required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to travel to multiple properties.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Respond to requests and work orders promptly; resolve issues or delegate as appropriate.
• Support preventative maintenance across all properties.
• Ensure facilities and systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, painting, exterior) are in good working order.
• Ensure units are ready for move-in with checklists and site visits.
• Update and maintain work orders in AppFolio.
