Job summary

Carter Machinery Company is hiring a Facilities Maintenance Technician in Baltimore, MD. This role maintains and services HVAC, electrical, plumbing and carpentry systems to ensure reliable facility operations. A strong mechanical aptitude, communication skills, and a clean driving record are essential.

The position is full-time and on-site, with a 1st shift. Competitive starting pay ranges and benefits accompany overtime opportunities and ongoing in-house training.

Qualifications

• High mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing and carpentry.
• Must have good communication skills and be able to interact with supervisor to discuss repairs.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with ability to meet deadlines.
• Must have an excellent driving record and be able to work additional hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide the highest level of service and maintenance to assigned facilities to keep utilities and equipment in optimum operating condition.
• Perform mechanical repairs of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and carpentry systems.
