Job summary

Weaver Superior Walls, LLC is seeking a reliable maintenance technician to perform repairs, inspections, preventative maintenance, and cleaning of forklifts and other company equipment, with an organized documentation system.

This role also covers building maintenance tasks such as lighting, plumbing, and related duties. Applicants must have a minimum of 1 year of maintenance experience, a valid driver's license, strong safety awareness, and the ability to lift up to 100 lbs.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of maintenance experience in a garage and/or manufacturing facility.
• Hold a valid driver’s license with a clean MVR.
• Read, write, and speak English effectively.
• High safety awareness and good judgement.
• Ability to move/lift up to 100 lbs occasionally.
• Willing to work overtime.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs, inspections, preventative maintenance and cleaning of forklifts and other equipment, with organized documentation.
• Handle building maintenance duties including lighting fixture upkeep and plumbing repairs.
• Operate hand and power tools proficiently.
• Maintain an organized documentation system.
• Ensure timely on-site attendance with reliable transportation.

Job description

Seeking reliable top-notch work ethic and focus on safety to handle repairs, inspections, preventative maintenance and cleaning of forklifts and other company equipment with an organized documentation system. This Tech will also handle building maintenance duties including lighting fixture upkeep, plumbing repairs, and more!

Main Duties & Qualifications

• Operate hand and power tools proficiently
• Hold a current/valid driver's license with a clean MVR
• At least 1 year of maintenance experience in a garage and/or manufacturing facility
• Work OT as needed
• Move/lift 100 lbs. occasionally and up to 50 lbs. frequently
• Work independently with excellent judgement and decision-making skills
• High awareness of safety for self and others
• Read, write, and speak effectively in English
• Report to work on time, daily - Reliable transportation to work is a MUST!
• Basic computer and math skills along with great organizational and time management skills
• Small engine and diesel maint./repair skills
• General auto repair/maintenance skills
• Experience operating vehicles and equipment with manual transmission
• Pay Rate is $22 to $25 per hour to start based on prior experience and work history
