Job summary

ID Logistics US is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic to inspect and repair material handling equipment and perform minor building repairs. You’ll follow GMPs, OSHA rules, and safety guidelines while reporting any noncompliance.

The on-site role runs Monday–Friday from 4:00 PM to 2:30 AM with overtime as needed. Responsibilities include electrical system inspections, defect repairs, record-keeping, and timely task completion.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage time and meet deadlines.
• Strong understanding of electrical testing and repair for material handling equipment.
• Proficient with power and hand tools.
• Experience operating a forklift is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Regular inspection of electrical and power units in a facility.
• Detect and repair malfunctions in electrical systems and vehicle engines.
• Adhere to OSHA and corporate GMPs and report noncompliance.
• Document service cycles and maintenance actions.
• Manage tasks efficiently and report damages to supervisor.
• Order spare/replacement parts and complete related documentation.
• Use electrical repair and testing tools appropriately.
• Perform light building maintenance such as changing bulbs and painting.
• Move equipment between buildings as needed.
• Follow company safety rules and site practices.

Job Description:

Description of the Position: The Maintenance Mechanic position requires a skilled maintenance mechanic to inspect and repair material handling equipment and minor building repairs. Will follow corporate and site-specific Good Manufacturing Practices and report noncompliance when observed. In addition, the candidate will observe all company safety rules and assist in enforcement as appropriate.

Responsibilities:

• Regular inspection of all electrical and power units of a facility.
• Detecting malfunctions and defects in electrical systems and vehicle engines and repairing the same.
• Ensuring the compliance of all corporate policies and the Occupational Safety and health administration rules (OSHA) while conducting work functions.
• Maintaining a record of service cycles and other maintenance activities conducted.
• Efficiently managing time and completing all tasks assigned by the supervisory authority.
• Reporting damages, defects and other issues pertaining to electrical units to the supervising manager.
• Placing orders for spare and replacement parts and completing all necessary documentation for the same.
• Appropriately using and handling all electrical repair and testing tools and equipment.
• Light building maintenance repairs. Changing bulbs, painting, caulking, etc.
• Moving equipment from building to another building
• Follow corporate and site-specific Good Manufacturing Practices and report noncompliance when observed.
• Observe all company safety rules and assist in enforcement as appropriate.
• Other duties as assigned.

Work Location:

This is an on-site role

Work Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 4:00PM - 2:30AM with OT as needed.

Compensation:

$35/hr, plus $.50 shift differential
