Job summary

Nebraska Furniture Mart Inc. is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician III to care for Grandscape’s HVAC and facilities systems. You will manage work orders, perform inspections, coordinate vendor repairs, and troubleshoot electrical controls to keep operations running smoothly.

The role requires 2+ years in HVAC/maintenance, knowledge of codes, and a valid driver’s license. Typical hours are Mon-Fri 7:00am-3:30pm with weekends off, and on-site work at Grandscape.

Qualifications

• 2 years heating, air conditioning and ventilation, concrete repair, light electrical work and plumbing required
• Extensive knowledge of codes and regulations governing HVAC, fire suppression systems, plumbing, and electrical installations
• Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and work independently as needed

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned work, maintain detailed records, and complete scheduled reports for all equipment
• Plan and perform property inspections and coordinate repairs as needed
• Monitor inspections before/after work to ensure vendors meet scope of work
• Assist troubleshoot and repair electrical controls on HVAC equipment
