Job summary

CommQuest Services, Inc. in Stark County, OH, seeks a full-time Facilities Maintenance Tech II to keep our facilities safe, compliant, and ready to support client care and staff operations.

You will perform routine and intermediate maintenance, coordinate repairs, respond to urgent needs, and supervise outside vendors while ensuring accessibility and containment of hazards across all agency locations. The role requires a HS diploma, 3 years' related experience, and a valid driver's license;

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in facilities maintenance, building trades, or related technical work.
• Demonstrated experience performing basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC preventative maintenance, and general repair work.
• Valid driver's license with a driving record that meets agency insurance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and intermediate-level maintenance and preventative services.
• Conduct routine inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment.
• Respond to after-hours emergencies, weather-related issues, and urgent facility needs.
• Support renovation, upgrade, and special facility improvement projects.
• Coordinate and monitor outside contractors for quality and safety compliance.
• Ensure exterior areas remain safe, accessible, and well-maintained year-round.
