Job summary

Altasciences is hiring a Facilities Maintenance Technician Level II to maintain HVAC systems and other critical facilities equipment across sites. The role includes coordinating with external suppliers, performing routine maintenance, and supporting special projects under the Facilities Manager's direction.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, 2–4 years of related experience, and a valid driver’s license; OSHA certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2-4 years of related experience preferred.
• Driver's license required; OSHA or industry certification preferred.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and manuals; welding knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform preventative maintenance on HVAC and other critical systems.
• Plan and execute special maintenance projects as directed by Facilities Manager.
• Assist with site visits and arranging service calls.
• Manage the 24/7 Emergency help line on a rotating basis.
• Test generators on a weekly/monthly basis and file required forms.
• Perform basic plumbing, painting, drywall, and welding tasks.
• Replace lighting and ceiling tiles as needed; assist with furniture movement.
