Job summary

HellermannTyton is seeking a Facilities General Maintenance Technician II in Milwaukee to perform a range of maintenance tasks for building and manufacturing areas. Responsibilities include repairs to interior finishes, equipment maintenance, housekeeping, and safety inspections under the Facilities Manager guidance.

The role requires 2–4+ years in commercial maintenance, OSHA certifications, and forklift operation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; vocational training in trades preferred.
• 2–4+ years in commercial building maintenance or related field.
• Certifications: OSHA 10/30, forklift certification; driver’s license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Maintain building interiors and basic systems per standard PMs.
• Support manufacturing bench and equipment maintenance; assist with housekeeping tasks.
• Perform seasonal tasks including snow/ice removal and safety inspections.
• Manage work orders using CMMS and assist with events setup/teardown.
