Job summary

The Inn at Snowbird, operated by Powdr Corp, is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician 1 to help keep the property in top condition for guests and owners.

You will perform a range of maintenance tasks from pool and facility repairs to snow removal and equipment checks, working year-round on various shifts, including weekends and holidays. Strong mechanical skills and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 18 years old or older.
• 0-6 months of job-specific work experience with demonstrated competence.
• Maintenance-related work experience and/or training.
• Requires mechanical skills and some dexterity.
• Reading, writing, simple arithmetic and interpersonal communications basics.
• Reliable, mature and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Valid driver’s license with clean MVR.

Responsibilities

• Maintain swimming pool and jacuzzi water clarity, chemical balances and clean appearance.
• Perform snow removal, clear fire exits, pathways and designated areas promptly.
• Repair or replace broken kitchen appliances.
• Maintain and repair a broad range of lamps and light fixtures.
• Clear clogged drains with power snake, hand snake, plunger or drain cleaner.
• Diagnose commercial video system problems and resolve with component exchanges.
• Respond to owner and guest requests in a polite, patient and timely manner.
