Job summary

Mountain Capital Partners seeks a part-time Facilities Maintenance team member to support the Arizona Snowbowl site in Flagstaff, AZ. The role requires basic knowledge of maintenance tasks and a safety-conscious approach to service and guest interactions.

The position involves performing general repairs, snow removal on lodges/roofs, trash disposal, and grounds upkeep, with possible additional duties as assigned. A willingness to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays, is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Current driver’s license and safe driving record.
• Basic knowledge of facilities maintenance (electrical, plumbing, construction).
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work on stairs/ladders.
• Ability to work weekdays, weekends, and some holidays.

Responsibilities

• Carry out basic facilities repairs such as replacing filters, lighting, unclogging toilets.
• Snow removal from lodges and roofs as needed.
• Trash removal and grounds maintenance.
• Maintain a safe, professional guest service standard.
• Follow safety procedures and report issues.
• Willing to perform other tasks as assigned.

The purpose of all Facilities Maintenance employees is to maintain the facilities, while sustaining a safe work environment. This position requires mechanical aptitude, and a curiosity to learn trade skills. A basic knowledge in one or more of the following is desirable: electrical, plumbing, construction.

Qualifications

Essential Functions:

• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Carryout basic facilities repairs: ie replace air filters, change lights, unclog toilets/light plumbing, paint, grounds maintenance, etc
• Work in accordance with safety procedures, identify and report potential safety issues
• Handing all aspects of trash removal.
• Snow removal from lodges, including roofs as needed
• Maintain an enthusiastic and professional standard of guest services.
• Willingness to perform other tasks and duties as assigned

Education / Training / License(s) / Certification(s) Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Current driver’s license.
• Safe driving record.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs. without assistance.
• Must be able to lift arms overhead.
• Position involves bending, twisting, stooping repeatedly throughout the workday.
• Must be able to ascend and descend stairs and ladders without assistance.
• Must be able to walk from building to building and spend most of the day on your feet.
• Regular exposure to winter mountain conditions including snow, ice, wind, cold temperatures, and changing weather.
