Page Mechanical Group, Inc. is seeking an experienced Facilities Maintenance Technician to support Houma, LA and surrounding areas. The role involves repairing HVAC, plumbing, electrical and carpentry tasks while following preventative maintenance schedules.

The technician will use hand-tools, power-tools, and metering devices to complete repairs, install and remove lighting, and manage work orders, reporting issues to the supervisor and adhering to safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 4 years experience in building maintenance or construction.
• Capable of working during emergency events.
• Proficient with hand tools, power tools and metering devices.

Responsibilities

• Utilize tools to perform maintenance and repairs on equipment and government buildings.
• Repair HVAC systems and follow preventive maintenance schedules for government buildings.
• Conduct plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and other general repairs as needed.
• Install and remove lighting and electrical components for events under supervision.
• Complete assigned work orders and report additional issues to supervisor; follow safety procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
