Shores Nursing and Rehab Center in Port St. Joe, Florida is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure safe, comfortable environment for residents and staff. You will perform routine maintenance, repairs, and renovations across plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.

The role requires 1–2 years of maintenance experience, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and availability for evenings and weekends. Level 2 fingerprinting clearance is required.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of maintenance experience required.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Must pass level 2 fingerprinting with an Eligible status.
• Flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs and replacements.
• Conduct inspections of facilities and equipment to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns.
• Perform repairs and renovations to restore damaged or broken facilities and equipment.
• Collaborate with other departments to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
• Work safely and efficiently to minimize downtime and ensure resident safety.
