Eaton’s Capital Blvd site in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Tech for 1st shift. Pay rate is $24 per hour. Core hours are 6:00am - 2:30pm. Responsibilities include equipment troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, parts requisition, fabrication of parts, and leading special projects.

Requires high school diploma or GED and 5+ years industrial maintenance experience. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. Relocation not offered; 50-mile radius preferred.

Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.Preferred Qualifications:• Welding experience and / or certifications• Hazardous waste management / Hazardous waste operations emergency response• Knowledge of electrical systems and devices• Lock Out / Tag Out Certified• HVAC training and / or certifications• Basic working knowledge and experience with computersSkills:Position Criteria:• Ability to demonstrate working knowledge of the mechanical, electrical, and safety procedures of a manufacturing facility.• Ability to work daily and/or weekend overtime, willingness to flex to different areas or local plants as needed• Ability to lift 50 lbs.• Ability to climb a ladder.• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
