Job summary

Eaton Corporation's ES AMER ESS division in Raleigh, NC is hiring a Facilities Maintenance Tech on the 1st shift. You will work with production teams to support line setup, equipment modifications, repairs and preventive maintenance.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience, and legal work authorization in the United States. Overtime and cross-training opportunities are available, with a range of comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited educational institution.
• Minimum of 5 years industrial maintenance experience.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
• Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Only candidates in the immediate geographical area (50-mile radius) will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
• Welding experience and/or certifications.
• Hazardous waste management knowledge.
• Knowledge of electrical systems and devices.
• Lock Out/Tag Out certified.
• HVAC training and/or certifications.
• Basic working knowledge and experience with computers.

The pay rate for this position is $24 per hour.

Core hours are 6:00am - 2:30pm

What you’ll do:

The Maintenance Technician will work closely with production teams to support initiative including line set up and relocation, equipment modifications and repairs and preventative maintenance.

In this role:

• You will troubleshoot equipment and make necessary repairs.

Skills:

• Ability to demonstrate working knowledge of the mechanical, electrical, and safety procedures of a manufacturing facility.


• Ability to work daily and/or weekend overtime, willingness to flex to different areas or local plants as needed


• Ability to lift 50 lbs.


• Ability to climb a ladder.


• Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Repetitive lifting, bending, and squatting is inherent to this position.
