Job summary

Overhead Door Corporation seeks a skilled maintenance technician to service industrial equipment and maintain plant systems. The role includes inspecting machinery, repairing electrical and mechanical components, and ensuring safe operation.

You will work with welding, hydraulics, and various hand tools, install conduits, analyze circuits, and assist in building and repairing fixtures. A forklift license and 2-5 years of maintenance experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Proficient in operating drilling, pipe threading, welding, and sheet metal tools.
• Able to troubleshoot various technical devices and processes.
• Experience operating mobile and hoisting equipment.
• 2-5 years of maintenance experience.
• Possess certifications in regulated trades such as welding or hydraulics.
• Possess a valid forklift license.
• Able to lift 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist in inspecting plant equipment for defects and wear.
• Assist in installing and repairing conduit; splice and insulate wires.
• Analyze circuits and wiring diagrams to design, test, service, install, dismantle, repair, calibrate devices.
• Dismantle, repair, and lubricate mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Build or repair jigs, fixtures, tools, and dies.
• Determine best repairs to minimize production downtime.
• Adjust new equipment for proper operation.
• Repair or adjust motors, panels, relays, and switchgear.
• Assemble and align gears, bearings, shafts.
