Job summary

Cook Medical Vandergrift is seeking a Facility Maintenance Supervisor to lead and coach daily activities of maintenance technicians and service suppliers across all shifts. You will oversee operations, ensure safety, train staff, and coordinate with management on policies and upgrades.

The role requires hands-on maintenance experience in plumbing, electrical, and HVAC, plus strong leadership and problem-solving abilities. On-site work with after-hours emergency support will be required.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Prior experience in building maintenance is required.
• Ability to read and understand documentation and blueprints.
• Strong aptitude in plumbing, electrical and HVAC trades.

Responsibilities

• Lead, direct and coach daily facility maintenance activities across shifts.
• Oversee maintenance work, ensure schedules are met and maintain safety standards.
• Supervise others, participate in disciplinary actions and interviews.
• Assist management with policies and program implementations.
• Coordinate with suppliers and act as liaison when needed.
• Respond to after-hours emergencies and seasonal maintenance duties.
• Inspect driveways, grounds, and perform snow removal when required.
• Identify preventative actions and improve department efficiency.
• Work independently and with the team to resolve problems.
