Caterpillar’s Lafayette Engine Center is hiring Facilities Maintenance Supervisors for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts in Lafayette, IN. You will lead a maintenance team, oversee preventive programs, and coordinate skilled trades to keep manufacturing running smoothly.

You will manage budgets, capital forecasts, and personnel issues while driving safety, reliability, and efficiency in the facility and its infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required or preferred.
• Significant supervisory or planning experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of facilities, maintenance processes and budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Lead a maintenance team including skilled trades for electrical and mechanical work.
• Plan, schedule and oversee preventive maintenance programs and projects.
• Manage budgets, capital forecasts and expenditures for the area.
• Provide leadership to craftsmen to meet customer and organizational goals.
• Collaborate with engineers, partners and suppliers to meet business objectives.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality and process standards.
