Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare facility maintenance.
• Knowledge of HVAC, boilers, water systems, and emergency systems.
• Ability to develop and manage a preventive maintenance program.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience with budgeting and purchasing/supplies.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance operations: hire, train, and supervise maintenance staff.
• Promote safety and compliance: document fire inspections and coordinate monthly drills.
• Oversee preventive maintenance programs and schedules.
• Maintain HVAC, boilers, water systems, laundry equipment, and generators.
• Manage supplies and budgeting for maintenance department.
• Supervise external contractors and coordinate their work.
• Ensure safety, operation, and regulatory compliance of facilities and equipment.
• Provide staff training and enforce safety procedures.
• Coordinate staffing based on census needs and labor budgets.
