You will oversee a team, coordinate preventive maintenance, and manage HVAC, boilers, water systems, and emergency systems to keep the facility functional. The role requires strong leadership, hands-on technical knowledge, and the ability to plan staffing and budgets in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare facility maintenance is preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills are required.
• Knowledge of HVAC, boilers, water systems, and emergency systems is essential.
• Experience implementing preventive maintenance programs is needed.
• Ability to manage supplies and departmental budgeting is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance operations and supervise maintenance team members.
• Conduct and document fire system inspections; coordinate monthly drills.
• Develop and implement a preventive maintenance program.
• Inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, boilers, water systems, laundry equipment, and generators.
• Order maintenance supplies and equipment within budget guidelines.
• Oversee and coordinate work by external contractors.
• Ensure facility and equipment are safe, operational, and compliant with regulations.
• Provide job-specific training and enforce safety procedures.
• Plan department staffing according to census needs and labor budgets.
