Job summary

The New York State Center for Recruitment & Public Service seeks a Maintenance Supervisor 2 to oversee construction, maintenance, repair, and alteration of facilities, including utilities, mechanical systems, buildings and grounds. You will supervise staff and contractors, develop SOPs, manage budgets and purchasing, and ensure compliance with DMNA policies, applicable laws, and safety standards.

Some travel and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of permanent supervisory experience in maintenance or a similar role.
• Ability to read and interpret facility plans, specifications, and blueprints.
• Proficient with MS Office and databases; basic computer literacy is required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff and contractors; ensure compliance with contract specs and plans.
• Plan, supervise and provide technical direction and hands-on assistance to staff.
• Develop SOPs for locations and facilities; assist in budget and purchasing processes.
