Job summary

The Salvation Army is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee daily maintenance and repair operations across our centers and stores. You will ensure building automation, security systems, and HVAC safety while supervising maintenance staff and coordinating with contractors.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years repairing appliances and related equipment, plus some supervisory experience. Valid driver’s license and HVAC familiarity are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; two years repairing appliances/electronics and some supervisory experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of HVAC and building automation systems.
• Ability to read and comprehend manuals; effective written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Supervises, plans, schedules, and monitors day-to-day general maintenance and repairs of buildings and systems.
• Oversees lawn, sprinkler, kitchen equipment, and store maintenance; drives to multiple locations as needed.
• Maintains inventory of Salvation Army property and administers departmental budget.
• Ensures compliance with safety standards and procedures; supports contractors when needed.
