Job summary

The Salvation Army Camp Hoblitzelle is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead day-to-day upkeep of buildings, grounds, and vehicles. You will supervise staff, ensure safety standards, and coordinate with contractors to keep facilities running smoothly.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED with skilled trade coursework, 5–7 years in maintenance, and at least 3 years in supervision. Strong English communication, valid driver's license, and CPR/First Aid certification are expected;

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with two years coursework in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and construction trades.
• Five to seven years of progressive maintenance and repair experience for commercial buildings and grounds.
• Three years in a supervisory capacity or equivalent training/experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and supervise maintenance and grounds staff for Camp operations.
• Oversee preventive maintenance of mechanical, electrical, utilities equipment.
• Assist with budget preparation and manage departmental budget.
• Develop network of subcontractors and vendors for multiple projects.
• Prepare and submit contracts and paperwork for renovations and construction.
