Job summary

Travis County Facilities Management Department seeks a skilled supervisor to direct building maintenance and repair for a complex of county facilities. You will supervise, train, and schedule staff; perform HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and roof work; and coordinate with consultants and contractors. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 5 years in maintenance with at least 1 year in lead or supervisory capacity; valid TX driver's license, and CJIS background clearance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 5 years building maintenance experience
• At least 1 year lead or supervisory experience
• EPA Universal Certification
• Valid Texas Driver's License
• Must pass CJIS background check

Responsibilities

• Directs maintenance and repair for a building complex
• Supervises and schedules staff
• Handles HVAC, electrical, plumbing, roof and security systems
• Coordinates with consultants and contractors
• Completes preventive maintenance and trains staff
• Manages tools, supplies, and inventory
