Facilities Engineering maintains 6 million square feet of facilities dedicated to clinical and academic functions. The department comprises 150 professionals, including engineers, MEP mechanics, and support staff. It is a progressive, innovative department emphasizing employee involvement, ongoing education/training, and opportunities for advancement. Customer and staff satisfaction surveys consistently rate the department in the upper 90%, with staff retention intentions also in the upper 90%.
Manage and coordinate activities of personnel engaged in maintaining the physical plant and other duties as required. Assist the Manager in developing policies, procedures, operating budgets, and departmental goals. Responsible for staff work assignments and productivity.
