Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
  • Minimum 1 year of general maintenance, facilities maintenance, restaurant maintenance, property maintenance, construction, or similar hands-on experience.
  • Basic working knowledge of general building maintenance and repair, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and mechanical systems.
  • Experience safely using common hand tools, power tools, ladders, and maintenance equipment.
  • Ability to troubleshoot routine maintenance problems and determine when an issue requires assistance from a licensed or specialized contractor.
  • Ability to read and follow work orders, equipment instructions, safety procedures, and preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Basic computer and/or mobile device skills necessary to receive, document, update, and complete maintenance work orders.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record, if required to travel between restaurant and hospitality locations.

Responsibilities

  • Direct care of hot/cold food prep line equipment, commercial refrigeration, and cooking equipment.
  • Upkeep and line maintenance for draft beer systems, soda fountains, and commercial ice machines.
  • Ensuring critical temperature hold zones, food contact surfaces, and sanitation systems meet Department of Health standards.
  • Performing time-sensitive repairs around active meal service hours to avoid impacting guest dining experiences and revenue.
  • Inspect, troubleshoot, and execute minor repairs on hot-line kitchen equipment (griddles, fryers, ovens, warmers, salamanders).
  • Conduct preventive maintenance on commercial refrigeration equipment, walk-ins, reach-ins, prep tables, and ice machines.
  • Monitor kitchen exhaust hoods, grease traps, dishwasher systems, and prep sink plumbing to ensure uninterrupted culinary operations.
  • Perform routine line cleaning, pressure checks, gas leak checks, and tap line maintenance for draft beer systems.
  • Service beverage dispensing equipment, soda lines, water filtration units, and espresso/coffee machines.
  • Maintain outdoor bar systems, patio heating units, and mobile service stations across diverse venue formats.
  • Inspect and service outdoor lighting, patio furniture, weatherproofing elements, access ramps, and temporary electrical or plumbing connections.
  • Verify that all food storage units, line refrigeration, and hot holding cabinets maintain regulatory temperature thresholds.
  • Maintain kitchen tile work, FRP wall paneling, stainless steel trim, and slip-resistant floor surfaces to meet health department codes.
  • Address plumbing leaks, drain line clogs, chemical dispenser hookups, and handwashing station fixtures immediately to uphold sanitation standards.
  • Execute scheduled Preventive Maintenance (PM) programs on commercial appliances, HVAC filtration, grease traps, and water filtration systems.

This position helps ensure that facilities, equipment, guest areas, and back-of-house operational areas are maintained in a safe, clean, functional, and professional condition.The Facilities Maintenance Supervisor responds to day-to-day maintenance needs and works closely with Hospitality Management and restaurant team members to identify and resolve facility and equipment issues with minimal disruption to operations and the guest experience.This position may support multiple hospitality locations, including full-service restaurant operations, smaller food and beverage concepts, container-style restaurant locations, outdoor service areas, and future hospitality facilities.**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**The following statements describe the principal functions of this position and the scope of responsibility but should not be considered an all-inclusive listing of work requirements. exhaust hoods, grease traps, dishwasher systems, and prep sink plumbing to ensure uninterrupted culinary operations.**Beverage, Beer & Service Station Support*** Perform routine line cleaning, pressure checks, gas leak checks, and tap line maintenance for draft beer systems.* Service beverage dispensing equipment, soda lines, water filtration units, and espresso/coffee machines.* Maintain outdoor bar systems, patio heating units, and mobile service stations across diverse venue formats.**Container-Style & Unique Venue Maintenance*** Support container-style restaurant locations, outdoor and temporary electrical or plumbing connections.* Monitor exterior dining environments to ensure structural safety, cleanliness, and visual brand alignment.**Food Safety, Sanitation & Regulatory Compliance*** Verify that all food storage units, line refrigeration, and hot holding cabinets maintain regulatory temperature thresholds.* Maintain kitchen tile work, FRP wall paneling, stainless steel trim, and slip-resistant floor surfaces to meet health department codes.* Address plumbing leaks, drain line clogs, chemical dispenser hookups, and handwashing station fixtures immediately to uphold strict sanitation standards.**Preventive Maintenance & Downtime Mitigation*** Execute scheduled Preventive Maintenance (PM) programs on commercial appliances, HVAC filtration, grease traps, and water filtration systems.* Schedule non-emergency repairs, major overhauls, and vendor service visits during off-peak hours or between meal services to eliminate guest impact.* Maintain detailed service logs, equipment service histories, and replacement parts inventories for high-wear kitchen components.## Qualifications**Qualifications (Education, Experience, Technical Skills)****Required refrigeration, ice machines, beverage equipment, draft beer systems, exhaust/ventilation systems, grease management systems, plumbing fixtures, and other food-service equipment.* Experience performing preventive maintenance inspections and maintaining service and repair records.* Basic knowledge of HVAC systems and the ability to identify common HVAC-related issues for referral to qualified service
