Job summary

TownePlace Suites Forney is seeking an Engineering Supervisor to provide technical and administrative support to the Chief Engineer and assist in all operational aspects of the Engineering Department. Responsibilities include maintaining HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, monitoring utilities, and ensuring safety procedures are followed.

The role oversees preventive maintenance for guestrooms, public areas, and convention spaces, conducts equipment checks, and maintains grounds and storage

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel engineering/maintenance operations.
• Knowledge of lock out-tag out procedures per OSHA.
• Ability to monitor and manage utility consumption.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional and courteous service at all times.
• Maintain maintenance issues across refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, water treatment, and related systems.
• Monitor electric, gas and water consumption.
• Ensure projects are completed on time and per specifications.
• Perform preventive maintenance on guestrooms and public areas.
• Report safety and security concerns immediately.
• Maintain inventories and secure key storage.
• Participate in maintenance programs for event spaces and kitchens.
• Attend monthly staff meetings and complete assigned projects.
