Job summary

JACK Entertainment seeks a skilled maintenance technician to inspect, repair, and maintain a wide range of mechanical and electrical systems within the Higbee Building and surrounding facilities.

You will handle preventive maintenance on boilers, chillers, pumps, and life-safety equipment, perform repairs on plumbing and fixtures, and support fire suppression and HVAC operations. Excellent troubleshooting and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Mechanical maintenance experience required.
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Able to work with co-workers and promote teamwork.
• Must present a well-groomed appearance.

Responsibilities

• Repairs, replaces, and maintains motors, panels, and electrical equipment.
• Replaces burnt-out light bulbs, checks electrical circuits, repairs dimmers, refrigeration controls, and contacts.
• Installs, connects, maintains, and tests sanitary plumbing fixtures, fire sprinkler systems, hydraulics, refrigeration equipment, hydraulic systems, gas lines, steam systems, and other pressurized systems.
• Repairs and fabricates furniture, doors, windows, cabinetry, office partitions, cornices, counters, wall panels, ceilings, and other related fixtures and structures.
• Performs maintenance on locks and locking devices to ensure safe operation.
• Diagnosis of major system malfunctions and replacement to restore operation.
• Maintains regular preventive maintenance on HVAC and refrigeration equipment for safe operation.
• Maintains boilers, chillers, pumps, life safety equipment, and related equipment.
• Performs routine maintenance on equipment and building systems to ensure safe operation.
• Follows operating procedures and complies with codes and regulations.
